Ariel Helwani Pitches KSI As Next Opponent For Jorge Masvidal After Boxing Loss To Nate Diaz

Ariel Helwani recently suggested that KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, could be a potential next opponent for Jorge Masvidal following his recent defeat to Nate Diaz in their boxing match.

In a rematch of their UFC 244 bout from November 2019, Masvidal faced Diaz in a professional boxing ring this past Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The fight was marked by intense and competitive action, ultimately leading to a decision in favor of Diaz by two of the three judges. The scores were 98-92 and 97-93 for Diaz, while the third judge scored it a 95-95 draw.

Ryan Garcia is returning to boxing, but this time as a coach

Despite the loss, Masvidal argued that he had done enough to win and accused the judges of bias. He immediately called for a rematch, but Diaz dismissed the idea during the post-event press conference.

Masvidal, known as “Gamebred,” has a three-fight contract with Fanmio, which allows him to pursue high-profile boxing matches. Given his enthusiasm for boxing, it is likely that he will look to return to the ring soon.

Ariel Helwani’s suggestion of KSI as a potential opponent for Masvidal adds an interesting twist. KSI, a well-known online personality and boxer, has a significant following and could bring considerable attention to a bout with Masvidal. While Helwani isn’t an official matchmaker, his idea certainly sparks intrigue and potential interest in the boxing community.
