Bayern Munich’s star expressed his thoughts on Kompany’s appointment and his future at the club

Bayern Munich’s leader Joshua Kimmich commented on the appointment of Vincent Kompany as the head coach of
the Munich team and on his own future at the club.

The appointment of Kompany? I remember him as a player. I cannot judge him as a coach. I am glad we have a new
coach. This is important for my future, but what the club thinks is more important to me.

My future at Bayern? It doesn’t depend solely on me but also on the club. For me, the situation is not uncertain; I still
have a year left on my contract. I am focused on the upcoming Euro. After that, I’m sure there will be discussions about
my future. Bayern is my first point of contact,” Kimmich told SkySportDE.

Previously, it was reported that Kimmich’s priority is to extend his contract with Bayern, but he has yet to receive an offer from the club.

His current contract expires in the summer of 2025.Florian Wirtz
