Takuma Asano, Michael Esser, Philipp Förster, Andreas Luthe, Moritz Römling, Danilo Soares and Kevin Stöger are all out of contract.

Patrick Osterhage has been sold to Freiburg, while the loan spells of Goncalo Paciencia and Keven Schlotterbeck expire.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei’s contract is due to run out, but talks with the club over his future are ongoing.

Bochum secured another season in the Bundesliga on Monday thanks to a dramatic win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in the relegation/promotion play-off.
