Confirmed: Wolfsburg loan out Franjic again

VfL Wolfsburg has confirmed that Croatian midfielder Bartol Franjic will be loaned out for the season to Shakhtar
Donetsk. Despite remaining under contract with Wolfsburg, Franjic will have the opportunity to play in the Champions
League with the Ukrainian club next year.

Dortmund reach full agreement to sign Guirassy, Sky reports

Franjic, who joined Wolfsburg in January 2022 for €7.5 million, has experienced a significant decline in his market
value, dropping from a peak of €6.5 million to €1.8 million as per the latest update from Transfermarkt. Last season,
he was loaned to SV Darmstadt 98, where he managed just one assist in 20 league appearances for the now-relegated
Bundesliga side.

Although Franjic has struggled to make a significant impact at Wolfsburg, this loan to Shakhtar Donetsk offers him a
chance to gain valuable experience and potentially rejuvenate his career by playing in Europe’s premier club competition.
His contract with Wolfsburg runs through 2027, leaving the door open for a potential return to the German club in the future.
