Fati is unlikely to move to Sevilla this summer. Where will he continue his career?

Young Barcelona winger Ansu Fati will not be joining Sevilla this summer, despite the Andalusian club’s significant
interest. According to Diario Sport, Sevilla is unable to afford Fati’s salary, even with Barcelona’s willingness to cover
half of his wages. Sevilla is currently dealing with a financial crisis, making the reduced salary still too burdensome
for the club.

Madrid defender Alaba could not return until 2025

Additionally, Fati himself is not inclined to leave Barcelona again, even on loan. He is determined to join the preseason
tour with Barcelona and aims to prove his worth to new coach Hansi Flick, hoping to secure a place in the team.

Fati has a history with Sevilla, having played in their academy from 2010 to 2012 before moving to Barcelona. Last season,
he was loaned to Brighton but managed to play only 19 Premier League matches, scoring 2 goals, due to injuries.

Sevilla, who finished a disappointing 14th in La Liga, will have to look elsewhere for reinforcements, while Fati focuses on
establishing himself at Barcelona.
