Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall told how far he can go in MMA in brutally honest assessment from Tom Aspinall

Former World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall made headlines with his knockout victory in a 2 vs 1 handicap
match against TikTok stars, the Neffati Brothers, in June. Now, Hall is looking to advance his MMA career and is
currently in talks to face Mariusz Pudzianowski, a five-time World’s Strongest Man winner and experienced MMA
fighter with a 27-fight record (17-9-0-1) in Poland’s KSW promotion.

Despite his impressive size—Hall weighed in at 360lbs for his last fight—UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom
Aspinall is skeptical about Hall’s potential in the MMA world. Aspinall, who is set to fight Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304
in July, shared his thoughts during an interview with talkSPORT.

“Well, Eddie is never going to be an actual good-level MMA fighter,” Aspinall said. “For one, he’s in his mid-thirties,
and two he’s been doing strongman all his life and is completely the wrong size and shape to be a good-level fighter.”

Aspinall pointed out that Hall’s MMA career will likely focus on “freak show” fights rather than competing against
legitimate contenders or prospects. He noted that even Pudzianowski, despite his numerous MMA fights, is not considered
a top-level MMA fighter.

However, Aspinall, who has trained with Hall, believes his friend has a chance against Pudzianowski. “That’s a fight I’d
definitely watch and I think it’s a fight Eddie can win as well,” Aspinall said. “I’ve seen a fair bit of Pudzianowski and I
don’t really rate him, so I think that would be interesting. Maybe let Eddie have a normal fight against one guy instead
of two and then have him fight Pudzianowski.
