“It is scary”: Paul Merson makes BOLD prediction on Manchester City vs Arsenal match

Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming Premier League clash between Manchester City and Arsenal.

The two sides are set to face each other in the domestic top tier on Sunday, March 31, 2024. This will be one of the
decisive games for them for the league title win as both compete to clinch the coveted trophy.

City are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League table, only one point behind Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

As the matchday approaches, Merson has shared his thoughts. According to the pundit, the two sides will share points at the Etihad Stadium if defenders Kyle Walker and John Stones miss this clash.

Merson believes Pep Guardiola’s team is a “scary” side for any opponent, especially during their prime form. So, the Gunners would face a hard test at City’s home at the weekend.

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves – the Gunners are still well behind City in terms of overall quality, because it is scary how good Pep Guardiola’s side can be when they are on song,” the pundit said on Sportskeeda.

“Both teams are evenly matched at the moment, however, and we could see a draw in this match.”Read More
