Ciro Immobile, the prolific Italian international striker, is on the brink of leaving Lazio to join Turkish side

after eight successful seasons with the Biancocelesti, during which he won the Coppa Italia and two Italian

Immobile’s impressive goal-scoring record includes 207 goals in 340 games, making him the eighth all-time
top scorer in Serie A. Despite these achievements, new Lazio manager Marco Barone considers him surplus to
requirements as he aims to build a new-look team at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito mentioned on Monday that no official offers had been received yet, but La Gazzetta dello Sport is confident that Immobile’s future lies outside Serie A. The club is reportedly seeking offers in the region of €5 million for Immobile, who still has two years remaining on his current contract with Lazio.
