Leicester City has signed Jamaican forward Bobby Decordova-Reid on a free transfer following his departure
from Fulham. The 31-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract with the Foxes.

Decordova-Reid, who made over 150 appearances during his five-year stint at Fulham, played a crucial role in
helping the team earn promotion to the Premier League on two occasions. He was released at the end of his contract last month, making him available for Leicester City’s acquisition.

This signing marks the first addition to Leicester City’s squad under new manager Steve Cooper, who replaced Enzo Maresca last month. Decordova-Reid expressed his excitement about joining Leicester, saying, “Turning up here was a special moment, looking around and seeing the infrastructure. It’s got that wow factor. It feels nice. I’m delighted to be here and I can’t wait to get going.”

He also mentioned his discussions with Cooper, noting, “I had a good chat with the manager – he told me the vision of the club. I spoke to him a few times and he was very clear in what he wanted and what he saw in me. He believes in me and it’s a perfect fit for me.”

Decordova-Reid began his career at Bristol City and has also had spells at Cheltenham, Oldham, Plymouth, and Cardiff. Leicester City, who won the Championship last season, recently sold midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea for £30 million.
