Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was asked about Lisandro Martinez’s injury at a post-match press conference following his side’s 3-0 win over West Ham on Sunday. The Dutch manager admitted that his injury looks bad but that they expect him to recover soon.

“In this moment, we’re very sad about this but, hopefully, it’s not too bad. We can only pray,” Ten Hag told reporters at the post-match press conference. “We have to find out in the next days what is the diagnosis. It’s very bad for him and very bad for the team.”
The Manchester United boss went on to add: “It looks like he has to sit some games out injured again but let’s stay positive at this moment. Hopefully, it’s not too bad but we have to wait.”
