Reports from the Italian capital claim Roma’s owners are negotiating the possible sale of the club to investors in Saudi Arabia.
La Repubblica details how a meeting was held involving the head of the Giallorossi’s legal department in the Saudi
Arabian capital of Riyadh on Tuesday.
Various topics were discussed, including the Riyadh Season sponsorship, but the conversation went deeper.
Eric Williamson, the right-hand man of Roma’s owners the Friedkins and a board member of Roma, travelled from the
United States to attend the meeting, suggesting something larger scale was being discussed.
