According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Calafiori’s representatives have reached an agreement with the Gunners for a
new professional contract.

Despite interest from Juventus and a potential reunion with Thiago Motta, the Italy international defender appears set
to join Arsenal. Calafiori played a crucial role in Bologna’s historic Champions League qualification, finishing the last
season with 33 appearances, two goals, and five assists.

The defender’s personal terms with Arsenal are agreed upon, and the London club is nearing the €50 million fee demanded by Bologna. Basel will receive 50% of the proceeds from Calafiori’s sale, as per their previous agreement with Bologna.
