Ryan Garcia is returning to boxing, but this time as a coach

Boxer Ryan Garcia has made a return to the boxing scene, this time in the role of a coach. According to Happy Punch, he will be training his brother, Sean Garcia. Ryan and Sean recently recorded a video addressing Amado Vargas, who previously defeated Sean, and they are now challenging Vargas to a rematch.

Ryan Garcia stated in the video, “Maybe Sean lost, but there’s great news. I wasn’t in his corner. The Vargas brothers are up 1-0 on us, that’s okay. We’re calling him out for a rematch, and I’m the head coach. Amado, how about it?”

It is important to note that Ryan Garcia was recently suspended by the World Boxing Council (WBC) for a year due to the use of the banned substance ostarine before his fight against Devin Haney. Following the suspension decision, Garcia announced his retirement from boxing. Despite this, he has now taken on a coaching role to support his brother in the ring.
