The legendary Leicester City striker has extended his contract for another year

Leicester City has triumphed in the English Championship and secured their return to the Premier League. Next season, the Foxes will again compete in the top tier of English football.

Leicester announced on social media that the legendary striker Jamie Vardy has extended his contract with the Foxes until the summer of 2025.Six Premier League clubs must sell several players by the end of June

“Achieving what I did [last season], I’m very pleased, but there’s still more to come. I take care of myself. I’ve always said age is just a number. My legs feel good, so I’ll keep going until they tell me it’s over. That day will come, but it’s not now,” Vardy stated.

Vardy scored 20 goals in all competitions for Leicester in the 2023/24 season. He is third on the club’s all-time top scorers list with 190 goals and has been at the heart of many incredible moments for Leicester City in recent years.

He has won the Premier League, the Emirates FA Cup, the FA Community Shield, and two second-tier titles during his career with the club, making a total of 464 appearances since signing from Fleetwood Town in 2012.

Additionally, Leicester’s head coach Enzo Maresca has become the new head coach of Chelsea. The Blues will pay the Foxes a compensation fee of 8 million pounds for the coach’s transition.
