Motta, formerly with Bologna, will earn an annual salary of €3.5 million, which could rise to €5 million per season with bonuses. Upon his signing, he expressed his excitement, stating, “I am really happy to begin a new chapter at the helm of a great club like Juventus. I thank the owners and the management, who can be sure of my ambition to keep the Juventus flag flying high and to please the fans.”

Juventus has lined up several pre-season fixtures, including matches against German side Nürnberg, Ligue 1 team Brest, and LaLiga giants Atletico Madrid. The Bianconeri will then shift their focus to the Serie A season, which kicks off with a home game against newly-promoted Como at the Allianz Stadium on August 19.
